I know that most ship settings, bullet settings, etc. are in server.cfg (and graphics and sounds for everything are under the .lvz and .lvl), but there seem to be some missing.
For example, thors would seem to be configurable seperately from bombs:
" /*THOR level
Sets player's thor level. 0 = normal, > 1 = instant death, larger the #, the larger the proximity (version 1.34.1+) "
(from http://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/Commands)
and yet there appear to be no thor specific settings in server.cfg.
Trench Wars makes for great examples of my current state of confusion. They have features like 3 way bursts and rear firing Javs, that I can't find settings for anywhere.
So beyond server.cfg (and server.ini, subbill.ini, .lvl, and .lvz files) what am I missing? Does everything else get done by bo ts or what? |

| Thors can be configured with a sysop command *thor #. Backwards firing is done by the multifire angle (found in the settings). I'm not sure what you mean by "3 way bursts", though. |

Sure, but at some point the multifire angle starts to shoot at least some bullets behind you as well. |

OK, so far I've got:
BurstShrapnel= sets number of projectiles in a burst (I found that in server.cfg after the "burst bullet count" post)
BulletSpeed= set to a negative number makes bullets fire rearward
thor can be modified without using the *Thor command I mentioned (and linked to) in my original post as "Guest"... how? Is there a way? Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad (as the saying goes).
The other thing I was trying to get at (perhaps a bit too obliquely) was this; are there any files modified or processes used in making a level other than: server.cfg, server.ini, subbill.ini, the .lvl and .lvz files, and bots/plugins? (well... and the occasional optional entries in .txt files like obscene, sysop, etc. I had forgotten to mention those earlier) |

Can't, unless you include your own function inside ASSS to control this as the weapon is being used. |
