Alright -

Whenever I try to get SubGame up it gets to the point where it says "Attempting to establish link to billing network", but then it decides to say that 3 more times. After it says that 4 times, it reads "ERROR: Could not connect to billing server." And then "Starting server in stand alone mode." The billing password is the same in both .ini's. Can someone help? :-\

ps - Sorry if this was answered somewhere else in MGB Forums

Post your subbill and server .ini's, without your staff passwords.

Make sure you're running subbill.exe too as you're probably not a member of an external biller.

Also make sure you're not letting both subbill and subbill run on the same port, because this simply isn't possible.

If you can't figure it out by these vague hints, just post the .ini files so someone can check and explain to you what's wrong, AS CYPHERJF JUST POSTED WHILE I WAS TYPING.

Harrr, you're letting subgame "think" the billler is at port 8100 while subgame is actually hosting the game on that port.
Also no IP address is specified for subgame to connect to.
Try the following to fix this:

You aren't a failure in SubGame, continuum and the modified subgame are a failure in an easy, compatible, runnable "off-the-shelf", server setup.

With VIE you could just click couple things and there was a server running without any problems.

Yes, you're right, Grav, except that with a clean extract of server.zip, you just have to run subbill.exe and then subgame2.exe, and you have a server running, too.

But a useful server, no. And that wasn't true in VIE days either.
