I think it would be cool if there was a new item that worked better than xradar!
I was thinking more in this field:
You turn on Blink Radar.
Your radar starts blinking green and making a sound. Like an underwater soundwave tracker or something.
And you see a cloaker blinking on your radar!

Subspace is set far in the future where radar images can be scanned so fast, or can be done 360 degrees at once, so you don't need the swiping action found in all the current radar scanners.
Plus, extra sounds really get annoying, fast. |

I think sonar radar is a rather cool thing.
I had suggested that and it was implamented in hostilespace, back in the hay-days.
One of the things I hated in x-com:interceptor, you had this "sweeper" like radar (like in ground stations/boats), but it was just gfx, enemies would appear on it 24/7 seemlessly. |

You could probably get something like that going just using LVZ. |

It would be possible using just graphics if you could do alpha channel transparency (which isn't possible in current lvz) _________________
