Server Help

What is the server address I put in to find the games I can play? I have DSL, but the games show up with "0" players and ---- for ping times. I figure I made a mistake downloading it, so I've deleted and re-installed SEVERAL times, and it doesn't help. Do I need winzip? We have a new computer, and my mom has loads of stuff against viruses, etc. We have earthlink internet, which has popup and scamblocker, and Norton AntiVirus. I've read that you have to disable Norton, but I don't want to leave any chance for a virus to mess up our new computer (like it did with our old comp) and get my mom pissed off at me. So I don't want to change any firewall, security settings. Should subspace/continuum be able to play through these? Any help would be much appreciated.
