Hey guys,
I get alot of corrupt files when using any internet based programs such as MSN/FireFox/Internet Explorer.
So, I go to run > type in chkdsk
It runs fine and finds the problems, but I read the very top of the window and it says - "Windows found errors on the disk, but will not fix them because disk checking was run without /F (fix) parameter."
Is there anyway I can change this so it DOES fix the errors when I run chkdsk on Windows?
Thanks alot.
Steve. |

rename chkdsk.exe to chkdsk2.exe . Create chkdsk.bat with the contents:

I don't know what you're talking about Mav.
Just do what Ed said. Run "chkdsk /F". _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. User assumes all risk of use. Cyan~Fire assumes no responsibility for any loss or delay resulting from such use.

It should ask if you want to schedule checking it on the next restart. Answer yes, then restart your computer. |
