AMD 2500+ Barton with 1gig ram with a Geforce 2 MMX. Runs at lowest settings with 640x480 and gets about 30 fps until there are more than 2 bad guys on a screen. Then goes to about 10.
Still looks good. |

Pah, I don't want Doom 3. I'd rather play Tales of Symphonia (again). Or Subspace. _________________ NTC Shard Owner

I'd like to hear more Doom 3 data from people with higher end video before I buy. I have an nVidia GeForce4 ti-4600/128MB. _________________ 4,691 irradiated haggis! |

I eat Radeon for breakfast.
I've been puking at ATI after using a card of them.
ATI's technical helpdesk doesn't even know their products.
I called them once because I had an issue with my new (yes, that was a while ago) ATI Rage Pro 128 (32MB, I don't want to know why they called it a "128"), the guy on the phone replied with most nerdy voice I ever heard (in Dutch): "yeah, well, I don't know".
Never had any problems with nVidia cards, so I don't get the chance to try their helpdesk.
I'd love to try Doom 3, even more after those "DOOM 3 IS SCARY AS HELL" comments from other people. |

Oh, everyone whines about the first time they get to the Mirror, but I didn't think it was scary. Wussy people.
I soon stopped even playing afterwards. Not a Quake kind of guy, and thats all Doom felt like to me. I want me Doom 2 back! Wait, I already do, Legacy Doom. Even have my own host I can abuse to host wads with. Note: save file as .zip, even though its labeled .pdf. Its mostly so if they look at the logs, its fine. |

P4 3.06 ghz
1.5 gb ram
Geforce FX 5700 256 mb
Windows 2000
Run in ultra high quality at 800x600 (as there's no real difference between 1280x1024 and 800x600 in this game) without a single jerk. I can run in 1280x1024 but I have to lower it to high quality or it'll be a little jerky. |
