i want to know how to make it so my staffers dont have to use the password in their profile or in pub like just make it so that whenever the ppl on the .txt come in they are automatically staffed in...tell me please

Well, if you take it this route, then you run the risk of security breaches. So suggestion is to make sure validatemod/smod/sysop accordingly; make them create a new profile based on their current player name, add *staffpasshere

So if my pass was demo, and the staff pass was: cont, the password field in my profile would be:

demo*cont

i mean a different route...cuz some zones like halo have it to where u dont even have to do that...u see zone is still under development so the staff gets promoted and demoted alot and telling them to change it really often is crazyness

well cyan since i own the fucking zone i would appreciate not calling a zone thats been around for two years a noob zone...its called staff problems because of noob servers that drop us like flies cuz the owners quit SS or because avg 5 pop a day isnt good enuf compared to avg 2 pop a day (dont get it either) anyways plz...still looking for an answer...only answers this time not zone disses...ty

you can route all staff powers through a bot if you like - I think there's a plugin for MERV

for mods, you can set modpass= to nothing in server.ini, set validation on and put mod names on the txt and they will not need to login

once again, one would stroongly suggest you make it so they enter the password in to validate its them.

OK, maybe it's not a noob zone. But maybe you need to hire your staff more effectively? Having a lot of movement up and down staff is considered very noob (and insecure).
