Most likely a port problem.
Blocked, already used, and so forth.
Does it say anything on the biller screen? |

hm that's the wrong filename for the biller i think :/
w/ 11j or w/e it is, there is a INI password to allow zones to initially get onto the biller, afterwhich you can create a group ID for it, with it's own password in which they the zone owner will switch in their server.ini, so you can be more administrative over it.. good luck |

No, the INI should be called subbill.ini.
I think your problem is with a ScoreId of 0. |

The INI is called like the EXE I guess because if I use the original "subbill.exe" (the original VIE subbill) and rename the exe to "myfile.exe" or something like that, I have to rename the INI to "myfile.ini" too. |

Somehow I doubt that just because you rename the .exe it looks for an .ini after the same name, it's probably hardcoded to look for subbill.ini config file.
Eitherway,

Obviously the biller isn't getting what it's expecting to recieve, possibly a bad setting or a bad packet/wrong protocol. |

I think you don't have the right biller password for it to connect to the biller. |

Or a ScoreId of 0...
And believe me, it is subbill.ini. Have you ever noticed how it says "Reading subbill.ini..." on the Command screen? |

Its all fine. Its a problem of gettting them to talk to eachother. His ports arent open or some crap like that. The CFGs are golden, near as I an tell.
| Quote: | | Already checked ports and passwords - nothing seems to be wrong. Maybe a little mistake. Maybe some of the INI parameter names changed because I cloned some parameters (which were already there in the old version) from my old INI file. I'll check that! BRB! |
What do you mean? Make sure it can at least read that value, sticking some thing there doesnt make it exist. _________________ There are no stupid question, but there are many inquisitive idiots.

Clean the passwords out, zip your subgame, template, subbill, server.ini, sub.ini and dlls all together, post it here.
One of us will make it work and post it back for you.
And then if it still doesn't work for you, then it's probably like xplody said about the ports (remember, they armor for use TWO of them, one you specify and the subsequent). |
