Heyhey,

I've got some questions regarding balls/soccer:

- I have spitted trough the entire cfg file, however i don't see a command to set the spawn area of the ball. How do i do that?

- On a soccer game, how do i reset the score without leaving the complete arena? No command i can find in the command list here at shanky.

-How can i reset the balls or warp them? are they also warped with a score reset of the ball game?

There's a spawn radius for balls, but I think it's the same as flags (?).

The only way to reset the score (without having a bot score all the remaining goals) is to set a short *timer and when it triggers, turn the timer off. This has the disadvantage of resetting all player scores. So do not use this method in arenas where you want scores.

A bot can pick up a ball and drop it anywhere you like. Depending on how the bot core functions this may be easy or a bit complicated. The SS protocol does not allow a bot to steal the ball from a player carrying it. You must wait for the ball to be passed, THEN issue the pickup packet, and even then someone else might grab it first. You can also spec and unspec players in order to force them to drop the ball, but this has the disadvantage of possibly forcing them to another team (if arena settings force even teams).
