Ok I ran across a setting in one of my config files a long time ago and I was able to make the ships move when you pushed up or down but they stopped when you let go of the button.... I'm trying to figure out how to make the ships go from initial speed to a extremly low speed when you release the button but I dont want them to stop completely. Anyone know how to do this... cant figure it out again.. last time was a fluke so I have no clue what I did lol. |

I think you need to set normal speed and use afterburners for fast. _________________ 4,691 irradiated haggis! |

You set initialspeed to 0 and maximumspeed to the speed you want the ship to move with. Now, when you push [key_up/key_down] nothing will happen. You can only fly when you push [afterburners]+[key_up/key_down].
I didn't test it but I'm very sure that's how it's done. _________________ Expect the worst but hope for the best. |

Yup, thats how. Initial speed = 0, maxspeed = whatever, use afterburners to move. |

nope its not i've done it before... just dont remember the settings i had... you didnt need afterburners to move... basicaly your fly along and when you let go of the control your ship stops after burners just made it go faster when you used them. |

How about setting bomb fire delay low, and making bomb thrust negative? Hold down bomb to move forwards only. |
