I just downloaded some cool shipsets but I dunno where to put them to make them work, can someone explain me plz!

If you put them in ...Continuum/graphics/ they will show up everywhere you go. If you put them in .../Continuum/zones/<zone name>/ they will show up only in that zone.

If you want other people to see them in your zone you have to add the lvz filename to the config file for the arena you want them to appear in... Misc section Levelfiles= ships.lvz or whatever the lvz name is
