If you have cable, then you have a router.
Find out what kind it is, tell us, and someone who is better with routers (idk, Akai, CyanFire) will help you.
Or if its a Linksys router you can view the stickied post at the top of "General Questions". |

You dont necessarily have a router. A router is a peice of hardware between your cable modem and your computer. If your computer plugs straight into your modem you do not have one. Tell us the manufacturor of both products if applicable. _________________ There are no stupid question, but there are many inquisitive idiots.

| no router then, the service is Fast Connect DSL from Sprint, and the modem is a ZyXEL 645M-PLUS ADSL Modem-Bridge |

| No, you dont have a router. Nonstatic IPs can cause the problems. Change the "127.0.0.1" to "localhost" for the ips in both servers. |

| Lay off favorites.lst, just edit the files as told to you. Make sure that the billing port and subgame ports are diferent. This seems condratictory, but the subgame.ini [misc]:port must be diferent from subgame.ini [billing]:port, this port must be the same as subbill.ini [misc]:port |

ya got me stumped.... there is always a chance that your isp blocks all the ports... if that is the case then your going to have to find someone nice enough to host it |
