Server Help

I tried downloading the latest version of ASSS from www.sscx.net/asss but I get a .tar file. How do I extract this type of file, considering if thats what you are suppose to do? I don't think I've ever ran into this type of file before.

Help.

Its a type of compression. Use winrar (winrar.com) It can handle zip, gzip, rar, and other such compressions.

BTW, if you're using windows, the tar version won't work. Get the win32 version from catid.ssihosting.com and explody.ssihosting.com.

Well OK the binary in the tar version won't work. You could recompile from the source include (with modifications).
