Help getting friends connected to LAN server

I have succefully made a LAN server, as I can go in it and modify things and upload, etc. The problem is, i want to let a friend in the LAN zone, but I tell him to add me to his list and it won't work, can someone help?

You have to add the [directory] section back in.

You may also have to open ports on your firewall/router. Do a forum search on routers for a general idea of how.
