If you added it from the directory server then it most likely doesnt work because your behind a router or have a firewall blocking the incoming udp packets.
If you are behind a router you need to forward the zones port and this port + 1 for the udp protocol so if your port was 1000 ([Misc] Port= in the server.ini) youd need to forward port 1000 and 1001 for udp.
