Server Help

Tis a noob question, and it comes from someone who is a noob at this. I'm wondering where do you get the special maps like Soccer and Turf and whatnot. Any help is appreciated ;x

use SSME (SubSpace Map Editor) to make them

can browse through your Continuum\zones folders, too, to scavenge maps

There was a site a while ago just dedicated to maps, but sadly, i believe they went the way of the dodo.

If anyone wants, in a couple of months i'll be getting a larger host, which means i could setup a LVL download site. I won't be able to admin it, as i've already got my free time covered, but anyone else can apply.

ssdownloads.com keeps a bunch of maps, they're only temporarily down

Shanky.com (and minegoboom.com also) have been down for maybe a total of a weeks time in the five years we've had it. Not bad for only myself and my brother chipping in the only money for it, and never, ever, having a single paid ad placed on any page we host. Nor ask for donations. Yeah, i'd say thats pretty good.

Just for giggles, the server.zip file itself is around 10% of our monthly bandwidth on average currently. More whenever new versions released.
