whenever i try to submit mine it says it must be in jpg,gif, or pmg type.

but ive tried all three and it still gives me that same msg...i dunno what im doin wrong. and also when i try to even do a blank 80X80 pic its always 18.8kb big...even blank plz help thx

Sounds like a 24bit .bmp to me.

BTW how do you add images to a post? I've seen a post here where there is an attached image, yet it is also shown half-way through the text of a post.

You try to open it in the .jpg? You must open it as what it is and then save it as whatever new file format you want.
