I have my server running but I and anyone on my lan cant log in.

Yet ppl outside of my lan can login ...

When I go to log in i get an "unknown name": msg

I have just realised that no other PCs on my network and reach the game/server ... we all get the same error msg.

But ppl outside our network can ...

Im still suffering .... err working on this - to the point I have clean installed the entire PC.

But Im still getting errors ... like: connection status read as terminated

I'll up load my INIs & a screen shot of my subgame2 hoping someone might still be visiting these forums here and try and help ...

I have googled and read and tried so many suggestions - Im at a total loss.

also people outside your lan can use the public ip address as currently, and people inside can manually add the interior ip/port

Thanks for the reply Cheese .. I have tried all the suggestions on that wiki .. obviously I have something wrong though ... here is a screen shot of my latest error msg ...

try setting misc:serverip=localhost

also check this

Thanks again Cheese - I really have spent hours reading and trying so many posts / suggestion and configure options - I am really at a loss / stuck.

Im running:

subspace billing server v0.23

subgame server v1.34

Zone / Map the newbie one thats in the d/l: _bzw.lvl

Continuum040 setup game

A friend had it up and running on his pc - he could enter the zone, I could join him in game / zone.

We then copied the files to my pc - change the IPs ports ect and made sue I had open ports here ...

I can run the server and he can enter from his house but no PC here on my network can enter.

I have set up the version1 Dir I have added in a renamed copy of the .exe renamed to subspace ....

it might be a forwarding ports error in your router somehow

I deleted and reinstalled all new files ... but this time I installed Catid-subbill.zip and its finally working ......

Thank you Cheese for being there - again and again and again .... still !!!!!

And yes - Cheese is so helpful !!!!
