It downloaded some install program and put it on my desktop. WTF is up with that?
It then procedes to put 3 copies of a shortcut to firefox on my desktop. Those are new copies, my old shortcut is still there. That makes for a total of four shortcuts to firefox (if you can't count) and one install program.
This just proves how awful firefox is. I recommend that everyone switch to IE to avoid critical bugs such as this one. IE has proven itself over its life to be a highly stable, reliable and totally bug free system.

Its seperate from Longhorn and its not going to include anything along the lines of conforming to the standards, full png support, ect. |

Try validating these sites for conformance to (X)HTML and see what happens...

Yeah someone needs to make a "Fuck Mozilla" banner sig thing. Would be leet, even I would wear it. Mozilla is such a horrible broswer, really. Every site is designed for IE and thats how it should be. Mozilla goes around fucking it up for everyone.

I don't think you get the real idea, do you... IE sucks. Everyone made the mistake of using IE and testing websites in IE. Mozilla is finally the solution to ALL IE problems.
Every site should work in Mozilla Firefox aswell as in IE. It's quite simple to do that; XHTML. The standard thats supported by both browsers. Sites that only work in IE is a sign of bad developing. _________________

Anybody who makes a quality product such as Winamp would obviously make Firefox better. Maybe it'll become they'll buy Firefox and make it the Winamp of browsers. Sweet!

The big, bulky Mozilla suite doesn't even take that long on mine (1.3gHz, 256MB RAM). Your computer must be crappy. |

However, if everyone tested and used IE there would be no problems. In fact , IE supports a bunch of cool things like ActiveX.

Problem with joking about a subject like this is that a lot of idiots say honestly exactly what we're saying sarcastically.
But I guess we've all learned that the hard way after this thread. |

I prefer Firefox over the IE browser cuz of the unnecessary spam that i get when i try to enter a link. Firefox just blocks everythin out, and doesn't make my comp lag as much. _________________ SSCC Halo CTF System Operator

I know, myke, I think I read an article about the main programmer leaving Nullsoft when AOL took it.
I thought AOL's Nullsoft would make it suck worse than it does now already, but they probably lost the source of it. |

They didn't leave after AOL took it, but nowadays there's nobody left of the original Nullsoft at AOL. That's why WinAMP is dead, there are only a few programmers left, and they only do bugfixes.
The main programmer left first, he was pissed because he could not programm what he wanted. (Gnutella, WASTE) |
