BSD owns Linux for Server usage, but Im gonna be installing Gentoo as my OS soon

Shut up dork, it was about getting BSD to work with an ethernet card in THAT system, since, as I said, it's pretty old and not many OSs support it anymore, and since I never really worked with FreeBSD I was on "new terrain".

You couldn't even put your wire in a socket, gtfo.

Btw, FreeBSD's installation was a little more automated, therefore easier to install than Gentoo.
