Hey i cant seem to get any bots to be able to join the DESERT STORM server... ive tried mervbot and a few others with no luck at alll... they all try to connect but get dissconnected before actually joining..

The accounts are valid the passwords are correct... all the info is correct sept the fact that i dont intend to use the bot as a moderator... more as mascot for my squad.

Any ideas on how to get a bot on this server without having to get hold of someone with access to VIP.txt cause even the mods said they cant get a hold of a sysop....

I think the problem is that the user ID of the bots are sumthing like -1 thus the server denies the connections because they are you every day continuum client... thats just a random guess based on my logical thinking.

I want the bot basicly to be able to keep track of people in the squad and who they kill and how many times they killed them.. and who killed them and how many times they got killed by then... that sorta thing... but im not worried bout the plugin's yet cause i cant even get a bot on the server.

Ill accept all suggestion that are actually tested before suggesting.... i get tired of random suggestion that the user never actually tries to make sure itll work before sugegsting it... the server is SSI Desert Storm.

I'm assuming you're just trying to put a third-party bot on while you're playing? Are you sure they even allow that? Most zones don't. Heh if you can't find a sysop (email?) then I guess no luck.

i tried loading the bots while im not playing and having a friend check for them with nothing showing up, had another friend try to set up a bot too which didnt work..

the sysops are long gone from that server so any other ideas?

Perhaps the bots are banned form that zone.
