Seeing how there is a trait in lvz pics...i didnt think AfterDeath would work so how do you make a pic show up after a dude dies? _________________ -General Shadow

whenever a player dies, move the lvz mapobject to where the player has died and turn on the lvz mapobject |

I downloaded the craters module and uploaded it to my zone, added the lvz to the misclevel file and restarted my zone. No pic showed after death. |

General Shadow, modules like that only work for ASSS. Your zone is currently running on Subgame2. |

I would set the image as a screenobject, center it horizontally and vertically, and give it a duration. Here is misc.ini for misc.lvz in Jackpot SVS:
Quote: | Outfile=misc.lvz
File=Commands.hlp
File=splash.jpg
[objectimages]
IMAGE0=splash.jpg,1,1,100
[screenobjects]
C-200,C-125,IMAGE0,TopMost,EnterArena,420,0 |
I set the text that is relevant in bold.
IMAGE0=splash.jpg,1,1,100 <-- 100 is the duration, which is 100/100ths of a second, or 1 second
C-200,C-125,IMAGE0,TopMost,EnterArena,420,0 <-- The formula for this is "C-half of the width of this image in pixels,C-half of the height of this image in pixels"
Look in Example.ini for what each part does. |

From my understanding only the player that dies will see that image, not the other ones. |

just saw this, why did everyone completely ignore the obvious choice?
theres a way to show an 'advertisement' every time a player dies with an lvz, and you dont need any fancy asss or bots to use it. _________________ SSC Distension Owner

Because he asked how to 'show a pic after someone dies' ... Changing explode1.bm2 can only make you show something that lasts < 1 second or so.
Not sure what you are talking about with these advertisements... _________________ (Insert a bunch of dead links here) |
