What does the "SCOREMAN" thing in the server folder do...I haven't been able to figure out how to work it (if it is possible) i know it has to have something to do with the scores....
also...when I type ?jackpot in my zone...it says 0...even after I have killed a couple of people....is it in the server.ini...(JackpotBroadcastPoints=0, does this need to be a 1 to see jackpot on request?)
alsoX2...i have a spectator freq, but it is 4483...so some stupid people might go on it and win the game...how do i get it so that no 1 knows what the spectator freq is.....when the person goes into spec (for no particular reason) they go to this freq..so that works...but how i get it so NO ONE knows what it is... _________________ User Status = Offline! ..

take my advice, and actually read everything in esc+c menu, IT'S ALL THERE!!!
The scoreman thingy: if u dont know what it does, dont mess with it, changing wont affect anything in the zone |

yep
...
it's called being the owner of your zone...
You get to own everyone, you can even crank your score on up to 3000 to 0.

well, I guess this is somewhat related... if I delete something like... user.dat, will it be recreated when I start up my server again, or will I have to replace this myself?
pretty much how is the player's scores and such usually wiped? |

| Uhh I'm not sure here. But just use a public *scorereset to wipe all scores. Cause if you delete it, all records of visited users go away. |

Yes, it will recreate itself, but will be blank, and cause errors as you already have some UserID's with scores and squads. I don't recommend this.

Delete, or rename the score.dat file. |

That should work, if you delete all of the .dat files that the billing server opens then you should have a completely empty player database
Note: This will remove EVERYONE and EVERYONE'S SCORES and ALL SQUADS, even your account. EVERYONE who has entered your zone will have to re-create their account.
(sorry for the caps, i needed emphasis) |

If you set the freq # high enough, players will not be able to see it. Mods will still be able to though, there is no way around that. |

Yeah it is four digit max. There's really no way of someone easily figuring out the spec freq. It would be a lotta work for a not-very-big gain.
