when I double click asss.bat it crashes before I can read anything on the console. I can tell it's loading the modules but it crashes just like subgame crashes when you don't have the map file that is defined in server.ini

any idea why this is happening?

Check asss.log in the log folder to see if there are any module loading errors (which is probably your case).

did you add any modules?

if so comment those out and add them 1 at a time until it crashes, thus finding the likely source of the error.
