I saw this months ago after looking at Bak's signature and wondering why it was linking somewhere. Now I can say go to it and good luck. _________________ Oldbie Server Help |

I sure hope he misunderstood and that ships are unlimited, in an essence.
That is to say, each ship is being treated as an independent object as an external module settings rather than being hardcoded.
Anything less than Infantry's configureability stracture would be an empty gesture and just a recreation of continuum and the same damned limitations it bores.
If SubSpace is to take a step towards evolving, with zones such as hyperspace and beyond, it requires unlimited vehicles and RPG support.
As well as other objects, items, weapons, misc, etc.

Why? We have a functioning client. Theres no reason to duplicate the limited client we have, then go back and remove limitations. Its better to build the client from the ground up based on an open design like this. _________________ There are 7 user(s) ignoring me right now. |

That's alright.
Mavnub lists himself as 21, he's obviously 12.
Bukk probably made a typ'o and is 17. |

Hey, me too.
I took computer hardware courses in the City University of New York at around 14-15 and even got A+ Certification after taking the test. |

Keeping things modular would solve it (which Bak's client is), you can have a set of modules for a continuum-like client so people can easily switch and then replace them with new modules as you go along.
I disagree that Continuum right now is a limited client, the limitations are only design choices imo. |

Hey, inhabitted, backwarded, underdeveloped, mavnub retard, continuum was an unadvanced clone of SS which was supposed to evolve later on, now look where that has gotten us?
Did Jeff just cloned/remaked/relaunched SS then improved it into Infantry?
Fucking moron, go ?buy a clue.
You don't just recode the same junk based in on some future premise that it'll get a patch job.
You recode the entire thing from the get go to be made proper as the next generation.
Now I'm not talking about 3D or FPS or whatever retarded shit you thought we meant, we're talking about a highly configureable client which can work with a highly configureable server to create a game like SS only with many much more options than we currently have.
Like Infantry's engine, at the least.
Why the fuck do the same job twice?
Remake continuedshiht then create new modules to replace them?
Fucking moron.
From the get go you set out and do something better.
Cerium, if you can please explain this 17th-trencher-nub how things are done proper, I can't speak retardizem well nuff to drive the point of the nail through his thick dumb skull.
Design choices my ass.
Priit was just too lazy to remake the server + client to work for unlimited spaceships.
Was easier to just clone the limited SS. |

Is it soo hard to discuss something like normal without swearing or getting offensive, specship?
I'm not even going to respond to your post since it contains nothing that contributes to this topic. |

Since I value your oppinion on a negative scale, I don't even want to bother to discuss something with you like a normal human being.
A. Because you're not even a fucking human being.
B. Because you're so dumb it's an exercise in futility.
C. Because you matter as much as, no, as less as grain of sand, so convincing you would just be a waste of badly-focused effort.
Chambahs, isn't it fun and easy to pwn him? Esp. since he's laying the all of the ground for you. |

Sure, it used to be fun, until i realized that its not worth it. Its a waste of energy and effort, and its only good for seeking out attention and waiting for people to say "GG GRAV YOU OWNED HIM". Since i got tired of all of that, i say be the bigger man (which is what really counts) and ignore him. Being a bigger and better man about things, also earns you respect, from me, and others. Why do you think i quit on owning cerium? Its a waste, so i just leave his quote in my sig and keep him on ignore. Wouldnt you say thats ownage enough? I proved my point, and show his ignorance, thats all thats needed.
I sure hope all of this typing wasnt a waste of effort to try to change your ways, if you respect the post the way i know you respect me, then you will listen up and not let this post collect dust. Its your choice. |

And yet, you still quote him in your sig.
Face it, we both know it's funny.
But yeah, I guess you're right.
Sigh.
Time to transit the pwntee into the ignoretee.
Was fun though; then again, an easy mark always is.
Cerium has actually improved a bit, I think, BTW. |
