Visit www.learn2asp.net, watch a couple of videos, and they'll mail you the full suit of Visual Studios, which includes Visual C++. Pretty good deal for the new bot developers out there. |

Notice the rules though:
Quote: | *Offer good in the United States only through June 30, 2006, while supplies last. This offer is available only to professionals employed in the area of software or Web development who watch three live or on-demand webcasts as part of the ASP.NET 2.0 Webcast Series. This offer is nontransferable. Microsoft is not responsible for nondelivery of gift due to incorrect postal information provided by respondent. Limit: one per customer. Please allow 6–8 weeks for delivery. We're sorry, due to heavy demand, this offer is no longer available to customers in Canada. |
Too bad it only applies to people in US. _________________

Dealing with the laws of gifts for other countries is usually too much of a hassle, so almost every company will only offer free stuff to those in the same country. I don't remember the last time I saw free offers for anything to a country in which the company had a real base of operations in. |
