i have a ship(very small, should go through 1 tile) but it can't go through the 1 tiles... why is this so and how can i handle it ?

The actual ship size is controlled in the cfg under "shipname:radius"
14 = normal size so, try somewhere between 1 and 7

A radius of 6 is what I use in my zone where all 8 ships are small. This radius of 6 gives you 2 pixels of lee-way on either side of the ship, so it provides better maneuverability and a much easier time navigating your ship in a 1 tile wide opening.
