Before I lay out some guidelines, let me say that I'm more interested in hosting a zone temporarily for someone. So if you need your zone hosted for 2 weeks to test some settings, I will be more inclined to help you. I'd also like to point out that I'm using a cable internet connection with a download speed of 6mb/s or 8mb/s (I need to check on that, I know it's atleast 6mb/s), and I'm not very experienced in hosting a zone. I'm not saying that I'm not interested in hosting a zone that needs permanent hosting, I'm just saying that I'm more inclined to those that need temporary hosting. If I do hosting for you, you'll see in time that I'm a pretty nice dude, and don't abuse by any means. I'm a moderator in Trench Wars. I'm a college student, and my cable bill a month is around 60$, not including the power bill. I'm not asking for money in exchange, or anything actually, BUT...if your interested in offering a smod position or a sysop position, include that important detail, because it can be very persuasive detail
If you need hosting be it temporary or permanent you must abide by 1strike's rules!!! Read this: http://forums.minegoboom.com/viewtopic.php?t=183
Respond with all the guidelines necessary.
I'm pretty sure that, based on my internet connection speed I can really only host one, maybe two zones. Try to be professional, and thanks for your time.
My email is: Reavers@gmail.com although it might be better to just reply on here.
I actually have two computers, but I'll just give the system spec's on the one for now:
1.4ghz 640mb Ram 20gig harddrive 32meg niv video card
As for software I currently have on the computer for hosting a zone: subill
Although if you're familiar with ASSS and how to set it up on a windows xp OS, I probably won't be against that. |
