I was in SSCC (thats right, it has SSC now) Desert Storm, theres a racist and an advertiser in the zone, and this is how it gets solved...Btw..i HOPE the SSC Council reads this..they will get a kick out of it...

and i got no response after that....and for you who didnt know, Viligante = Henk = DS owner, this is very sad...as i said from the start, DS doesnt diserve SSC, this is getting pityful, and someone, if your friends with a member of the SSC Council, please tell...this is outrageous

Why would SSC care? I believe it is up to the individual zones to handle such issues unless it concerns the security of the network itself.

i remember before the staff walkout when i was staff there we used to actually take care of peopel who disobeyed the rules. guess thats what happensd when all the staff just play all the time and dont worry about real zone matters. btw, doesnt a zone have to have a minimum of 15 pop excluding staff and bots all 24 hours of the day to get ssc? i havent looke din awhile, but does DS even qualify fo rthat? i remember before they hardly had 15 nonstaff during peak playtime

The SSC does not have anything to do with what zones get hosted.

The SSC in SSCC is *not* SubSpace Council.

The zones have the right to deal with anyone in their zone in any way they see fit. The hosts also have the right to kick zones off for no reason.

If you have a problem with the way things are done in a zone, the answer is quite simple. Too simple, some might say. The answer is to not play that zone. Yes my friends, the depth of thinking that was required to figure that out was astronmical, but fortunatly for you all, I just did the thinking and you can simply apply the resulting conclusion without having to go through the excruciating mental process yourself.

You needn't take it upon yourself to get a zone's billing rights revoked. Just don't play there anymore.

But the SSC has nothing to do with it, no one cares eitherway, and besides, it's a zone's self-issue.
Also, Chief sux, even at SVS, you lost to chief, he owned your zone...LoL!

anothe rproblem with the powerful ds staff is if you complain about how they suck at being anything besides crappy, youll oftenly get yourself a net ban, in that case, you cant just "not play there" because if your banned off a whole billing area you cant play in multiple zones. maybe now that theyre on a better billing maybe the netops will actually not be douchebags who ban you for proving them wrong or explaining to them how they do something wrong

ps. about the ssc requirments, before i saw on som ss site that there were requirments to have the ssc billing. but maybe they got rid of it now since only a small handful of zones could keep up with them.

grunge, yes, i did staff at RS, and i TRIED to do alot of things, ask kewl, he wouldnt allow me to, thus me quitting and starting my own zone, unlike YOU i did not abuse, YOUR kind of people are the people who everyone is talking about right now, keywords that fit you = newb staff, abusers, and douchebags

I'm sure if the player started harassing you the staff would have banned the player. I fought for the ?ignore option to be the most-used deterrent for foul language. I would also suggest laughing at the immaturity of the aggressor in this case. All I read were a bunch of newb comments. It just looks like that the guy needs to be killed over and over again in-game. :P

It amazes me that people still play there. Viligante banned an entire squad for a year because 4 people on the squad went onto the Staff chat and spammed racial slurs. I can see those 4 people banned but the whole squad? Corruption in DS...
