Server Help

I've found out that when i have my Subgame.exe file open, My arena works but if I have it turned off, it dosent work. So if I want people to access my arena, i have to have my computer turned on 24/7 and with subgame.exe on?

Well, how about "DUH"? How do you think webservers work? Do you think they actually serve websites while they're off?

A TV doesn't show anything while it's off now, does it?

I wounder if you have to have some sort of biller to let people know if your zone is up and is able to access. lol Please do not come back to these forums intill you know what a computer is, how and types of networks, what a server is. Thank I'll see you in 20 years or so.

I'm not a programming genius, and I never claimed that. I'm trying to learn more about computers, I just seem to get along with it the right way without making up things about how things work.

I respect Smong and Ekted, but those are people who know what they're talking about.
Next to the fact I spent some time helping people our here I actually still am here to ask for help.

I don't claim I know everything about the aspects of computers, but I try to learn. That still allows me to laugh at your confident attempts to explain things. Just don't try if you don't know, explainations are fine, but not if they're wrong.

PLEASE DEFINE the word "PLUGIN" for me because Im making this MERVBOT and I dont understand what "PLUGINS" are. (It tells me to enter plugins)

We did answer your question.

A plugin is a loadable extension for MERVBot, a ".dll" file.
Plugins add functionality to the MERVBot, you can make it load one or mulitple plugins.
In the file "Spawns.txt" which came with your MERVBot you can tell it which plugins to load.

Please use the search feature on these forums for more informaton, there have been many topics discussing plugins already.

This is a bot question indeed, but this thread hasn't been on a programming topic yet, and your percent of knowledge compared to others is nothing to be ashamed of. I was only making a point to blah-er because he's an idiot.

And the 3.01% was just to compare.

Also, if I did show off, how would that lower my computer knowledge, and how can you tell what I said was not true?
