ok heres the situation, i was running windows 98 and i could run a server just fine off of it to test maps, settings, ect. well, ive recently upgraded to windows 2000 (sounds funny i know, so sue me im outdated) well the server has stopped working, i tried changing the ports it runs off of and that didnt work, the billing server will connect just fine and the zone shows up in the zonelist, but its in red. any ideas on why, or how i may be able to fix this? i searched alot of faqs and i tried looking through this forum for a similar circumstance but i couldnt find one so any input would be much appreciated. |

http://wiki.minegoboom.com/index.php/Server_Troubleshooting wrote: | The first step to take when your zone is red is to make sure you can use it through a custom zone. To do this, open the Zones dialog in Continuum, and click the "Add Custom Zone..." button. In the dialog that pops up, type in your zone's name, the port from Misc:Port, and 127.0.0.1 for the IP. (This will only work if you are playing on the same computer that is running subgame.) Then click ok to both dialogs, and find the manually added zone on the zones list and try entering. If you still cannot enter the zone, post on the Server Help Forums for more specific help.
If you can get into the zone with the custom zone setup, now follow the instructions here. |

It's not funny, don't worry. Even going from WinXP to Win2000 would be upgrading. _________________ This help is informational only. No representation is made or warranty given as to its content. NT6 to NT5? A lot of people liked NT3.5 better than NT4, so I guess its possible. _________________
