i found it on the list and i can trace the zone but i cant connect to it.. i ve been reading posts and i looked at the website but i cant figure out whats wrong. maybe i forgot to put in something.. well ill post the server thing in here for u to looka t it

Make sure you have the serverID and ScoreID the same as your port. In this case, 382.
Also, make sure that Windows Firewall is NOT blocking subgame and subbill. Ports also need to be forwarded.
If you did all that, and still can't get in, post in here what subbill.exe and subgame.exe say. _________________ SSE Network Administrator |

i reinstalled the server stuff so heres the new one and the billing. BTW it shows them as being a configuration settings file instead of a .ini? is that normal or do i need to fix it

From what it says, all's working well.
You're most likely behind a firewall which is why you can't see it by downloading it conventionaly.
Use the add custome zone method, set IP to 127.0.0.1 and port to whatever you set "server.ini, [misc], port=" to (and don't forget server name of course) and try to connnect to that.
P.S. others won't be able to connect to you either. |

it still doesnt work...
and i set the firewall to allow the thing to run without blocking it...

oh um hehe i turned it off COMPLETELY and it works.. but...
it says, apart from the usual starting stuff:

WTF? can you tell me what this means. or else in about 5 minutes i may explode and leave a 10 mile wide crater demolishing everything within 100miles of my current location

| ok, i found one of the ports was wrong, now i go to start and it does the same thing, it wont let me in, and like 2 weeks ago it started not showing subgame when i started it, i dont know if thats a problem or not |
