I'm not sure about the SSC biller, but try and add the keys ServerID and ScoreID in the [Billing] section of the global.conf and give them a value.

Yes, make sure you have ServerID and ScoreID set correctly. But I think your problem is that you don't have enc_vie loaded. billing_ssc requires it, because the ssc biller uses vie encryption. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to accept vie clients; you can control that separately.
Also, be careful with the ssc biller. I've had problems where a connection would be established, and asss would crash, or somehow exit without properly disconnecting, and the biller would get confused the next time you tried to connect. Waiting a while (5-10 minutes should be sufficient) before reconnectiong helped.

Awesome, ScoreID/ServerID and enc_vie fixed the error message and now the zone connects to the biller properly. Thanks Purge, Grel.
One thing though, the zone doesn't seem to be crashing, but it loses its connection to the biller about every 5 minutes.
Here's the error message from the log:
Jul 09 10:42:39 I <billing_ssc> lost connection to user database server (auto-retry in 180 seconds)
Jul 09 10:42:39 I <net> (client connection) dropping client connection
Jul 09 10:42:39 W <net> got data on client port not from any known connection: 207.44.214.98:9010
Jul 09 10:42:39 W <net> got data on client port not from any known connection: 207.44.214.98:9010
Jul 09 10:42:39 W <net> got data on client port not from any known connection: 207.44.214.98:9010
Edit: Ah, nevermind. We're going to stay off the biller while still testing/coding the zone. Whenever the biller goes down for the test zone it goes down for HZ too, and drops everyone.

The connection can only work on one zone at a time. So when you're connected on ASSS, HZ gets disconnected, but when HZ reconnects automatically, then your ASSS test zone gets disconnected. _________________ Hyperspace Owner

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Alright, thanks for the help though, once we're ready for mass testing we'll take HZ offline and put ASSS on the billing.
