Note that you do not pay for domain names monthly.

At least not with any normal registrar. There may be some that specialize in offering that service.

Domains are paid in years... mine said i could pay up to 10 years if i wanted to when i registered it.

It all depends on the domain registrar such as godaddy.com, dotster.com, networksolutions.com, etc.

noip.com cost me 9.95 a year... but i pay 30 a year becuase i use there service that lets me host my website from my pc.
