The resolution would be terrible, you could basically only see your ship and maybe what energy/gun level you have. There wouldn't be any space for text. _________________

| I actually designed up a good GUI for PocketPC/Palms, but never got around to hacking up a method for using UDP or having a TCP/IP relay server. But since there is now a Chatnet protocol, it shouldn't be too hard. Could maybe even make a WAP chat site. |

The problem with going to a console is funding. Someone has to pay for it, which means the person getting money should probably have the rights to sell the game in the first place...
Cell phones on the other hand, have free SDKs, so you could develop something, and as long as you dont try to charge for it, youll probably be left alone. |

Some devices only have 6 buttons, that leaves you 2 for weapons. Although this could add an extra edge to the game. For example one button must map to a (energy based) weapon, the other can map to anything including another weapon.
You also won't have any buttons left for chat. But if you designed it as a lan game you can just talk to the person opposite you on the bus or whatever.
Since the screens are small and of varying sizes it may be necessary to reduce the number of degrees to 4 (for fairness). This would make it essentially like bomberman with no friction, more open maps, more weapons and game types. I wouldn't worry about FPS since the screens are significantly smaller than a desktop computer. |

| You'd need the developer's kit for that. |

Some phones have touchscreens, where the buttons are just images. You can only press one thing at a time with those screens.
I'm guessing my post count is some sort of joke that I don't understand.

| It's now displayed in hex, although I was referring to binary. I would guess binary would take up a bit more space though (10001011001) |
