Server Help

Is there a chat client that:

Goes to all zones, SubGame and ASSS run.
Your name is not required in VIP.txt
All it is, is the Continuum client minus the ships, GFX, etc. Basically, the chat window by itself, in a .zip/.rar file.

This has almost nothing to do with the chatnet protocol, but, whatever.

Chatnet is part of ASSS, you cannot use chatnet clients for Subgame servers.

Your name would always have to be in VIP.txt, unless you are sysop in the zone running on subgame, or unless someone found out the Continuum protocol.

There is a client written by Kirk which uses the SS protocol (so you'd probably need to be in vip.txt), this client is called Subchat.

I still have SOS' Contrivia's source, Contrivia could lock the Continuum chat window and make it look like there is only a chat window.

Other chat clients, which are mostly chatnet clients, can only enter ASSS zones, as I stated before.

Conclusion: There are no chat clients that meet your criteria.

If you can crack and use the continuum encryption nobody has cracked so far, it will be possible.
