Antivirus does pretty much nothing against spyware or adware.

Not my PC, the boss's, trying to fix it for him (burn some good hours of the work day for it).
He knows jack about PCs and...there's the result.

I also recommand ProcessGuard and ZoneAlarm's permission modes for stopping unwanted junk from loosing up on your system.

Anything else to highlight?
I tried to get a fix on all sorts of suspecious processes and remove the, but seems that some just keep bouncing back no matter what and I cannot locate the source, arg.

Also, I can't accept my computer or control panel.
Ends up in a lock, which ends up in dr watson crashing and producing an error message...
I fear I have to reformat this poor machine, I think it's FUBAR'd.

Well, yeah, that's because they're not allowed to.

Assassin, you may want to let somone here check a hijackthis log of yours.
Download hijackthis, let it generate a log and post it here, you can't be sure that Spybot S&D or Ad-Aware removes all those registry entries, you might have to do it manually.

Grav, I think everything in that is fine, just these two look suspicious:
Code: Show/Hide
O16 - DPF: {41603E7E-4007-415B-9A8D-3D55B1460A2A} (DrmInterface2 Class) - http://www.takdinet.co.il/search/NetisUtils/sfvw_safeview.cab
O16 - DPF: {94D2A476-84BC-4E4C-820A-2C5372CF89BF} (MailConfig Class) - http://lotus.netvision.net.il/help/MailCfg.dll

Some processes (well, viruses) keep eachother alive, at a friend's pc I tried to end a process, but before I did one of the other 2 processes re-created the .exe at the same location and started it again.
The virus didn't allow me to open msconfig or regedit, so I had to reboot it into safe mode so I could keep them from starting.

Now I'd just fire up a small program I quickly wrote called "EMP" which kills all programs except the excluded once and keeps them killed whenever they show up, so those problems can easily be fixed. icon_smile.gif

These are actually fine.

I'm more worried of these two:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\mfcom.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wscntfy.exe

They could be system, but they could be fake/replaced.

Seems that the entire system has been corrupted and breached beyond repair.

I think wscntfy was something SP2 came with, to give system security status warnings on the taskbar.

Hm, yeah, I checked on a computer downstairs (I refuse to ever use SP2):

C:\DOCUME~1\NAMEWI~>locate mfcom.exe

A search for mfcom.exe makes it look like that mfcom.exe is a common name for a file of Citrix Systems.
Of course, this doesn't prove anything yet.

I wouldn't reformat anything, just keep trying to repair, if an attempt fails use more extreme measurements until you reach reformatting, or maybe throwing the computer out of the window.

I have service pack 2 installed as well as all latest updates.
However, I lack these files (or rather, blessed with not having them?).

I always try to work with a skeleton crew of bare must-have processes.
Anything else I find on the task manager immidiately raises my suspicion.
