I was expecting someone to say that.
IE hasn't ever given me any problems, as long as it doesn't I'm keeping it as my default.
Nobody has shown me a good reason to switch, all the reasons I've heard don't affect me.
I don't need a "better" browser then, obviously.
Hey, and, uhm, as soon as I'm switching to Linux I'll probably use Konqueror, HOW ABOUT THAT EH?

You, Phyran, seem to be missing a big part of what Hijackthis was made for.
The main reason is to make "browser hijackers" inactive, so that they won't be loaded when Windows loads.
Ad-aware and Hijackthis have different purposes.

No idea how you can stand IE unless you're using a clone that just uses the engine with a better GUI, like MyIE2 or something. It's just so...gawd how do you live without tabs.
Anyways, I do use IE; I use it all the time to identify new stupidass bugs it has.

Phyran, yeah, Hijackthis' a registry editor aimed at a few keys, it doesn't do anything automatically except enumerate through those registry keys.
Ad-aware is a adware detection and removal tool.
So, yes, they do different things, but both are good at what they're supposed to do.
I hated MyIE2, heh, a friend who tried it says it comes with adware, I think it kept spamming me with "NEW UPDATE!111 DLOAD NOW!!1" messages.
Konqueror has tabs, I think.
