when ever i wanna change the settings to my ships or to my otehr stuff IN THE GAME, it says only the owner can change settings. now how do i log in, and how do i create the owner passsword..

To "own" the settings, you must have your userid (as in "?userid") in the owner:userid setting in the .cfg . To set that in the .cfg (if you are not yet the owner), you must be a sysop. If you're not a sysop, ask a sysop to make you the owner. If it's your zone, but you don't seem to be the sysop, then just check the password for sysop in your server.ini (if you can) and type "*yourzonessysoppassword" in-game or add it AFTER your usual password in your profile (note: may screw up the profile for other zones which do not acknowledge that password).
