To make it so that all ships are small (e.g. they all fit through a 1 tile opening), would you just shrink all the ship .bm2's to like 50% or whatever is needed to make them fit? I mean, you'd just shrink all the files and the system would still pick out the correct coordinates from the shrunken file?
TIA

You need to do that with the .bm2, so huge ships don't look like they are going through small spaces, but you also need to do the Radius setting for each ship. Play around with it, 7 should be a nice value for what you need. |

Yeah, I was thinking either 6 or 7, but I have created a zone before with a small leviathan, with really powerful bombs, so I'm familiar with the radius part, just not with how to resize the .bm2's.

Any half-half-not-even-decent graphics editor can do it. Even MS paint. _________________ 3y3 4m l33t h4x0r

But the original messures of the graphic must not be changed when you shrink the sprites on it, right _________________ Expect the worst but hope for the best. |

just shrink the whole thing proportionately and it will look fine. Remember it samples by dividing the bm2 evenly... so just use 50% 50% or something like that... yeah MS paint does that now (i have the XP version) _________________ Signatures just seem so quaint. |

Yeah. Even Mspaint for ME does it. Just use the sketch/skew option. Select the whole bm2(ctrl+a), go to sketch/skew, and set both horizontal and vertical to 50%(never knew this myself, just found it a moment ago, after downloading and installing Adobe 7.0)!!!
So I could just do this to all the ship.bm2's and roll.bm2's, then just upload them in the settings, and viola? The ships will be small?

I mean the levelfiles=etc etc or some setting like that. I know it, just not off hand.
