				| I want a plugin similar to that of EG's where once you die you get warped to the safe IN the box and the bot keeps score just like EG. Only difference is, is that there are no !ch and instead players just go into corners to get warped to their respective duel boxes, incorporating the current 1v1 duel bot plugin that is in use currently.
Is it possible? If you have one, I would greatly appreciate it. I downloaded the Dueling Zone bot from mervbot.com but I have no idea how to use that stupid sql stuff. Thanks.

				| The mysql in duel is most likely for rankings. If you want to use it you'll also need a mysql server. | |

				| assuming you are using my Duel plugin...download latest source from here:
 http://www.dzleagues.com/bots/duel/ (u need the duelsql.dll, duel.ini, dzstatbox.lvz)

if it's not warping anyone you probably didn't fill out the duel.ini correctly or the bot doesn't have correct mod/smod/sysop powers. be more specific or message me in ss.

btw posting ' I have no idea how to use that stupid sql stuff. Thanks.' isn't the greatest way to get bot help.

				| Yes, most of it works. Now since it's MySQL, exactly how would I use it?
I am guessing the bot is there for rankings...but I dont have table.txt . Do you have a copy of it? Would I need anything else to put up these rankings on the site? It would be greatly appreciated.

You are of great help and I am deeply in your debt. Thank you.

The ini says to refer to tables.txt, however, there is no tables.txt. Can you post them here or submit them to that dir? I'd like to try to set this up.

				| Thanks for the tables. Got it all set up, believe I got it all configured right, however, I have a problem. It shuts my server down by generating some errors. The mervBot console displays the following error:
MySQL Error: Access denied for user: 'davis_ssc@az.... ' <Using password: YES>

Any idea? perhaps I dont have my ini configured correctly?

				| EG's duel bot doesn't use SQL, it uses a ranking system by divine.216
Infact the only bots that use sql are the public bots and a few of mine.

				| That's great useless info.
Anyway, just make sure the user davis_ssc's host has access to the MySQL server.

To give a user access from a host using MySQL CC:

Specify the correct host in the Host field (duh), the '%' stands for all.

If you don't have access to the server's user administration ask the server administrator.

				| Ok... I set up my ip in the Access Hosts. I know it works because I get a connect message from prize3.dll (the mysql plugin). Now... when I have two clients running and go into the duel, it errors my server and shuts it down. Maybe because I am running two clients on two computers but through a router?? Here is the error log DrWatson creates for the Mervbot or something.
