I would like to see this added to the server.

Different weapon alive times for each ship.
And different weapon alive times for each weapon level.

Like ship 1's lvl 1 bombs are alive for 5 secs.
ship 2's lvl 1 bombs are alive for 3 secs.
ship 1' lvl 4 bombs are alive for 15 secs.

and so on.

also not just bombs, also all of the other weapons that use alive times.

I would really like to see this feature implemented into the server.

Thank you.

Problem is that a server change wont do a thing. The client needs to be altered. And unfortunatly, the only person with the ability to change the client doesn't seem incliened to do anything on it.

All options need to be de-coupled. As it stands now one setting affects so many others that it's difficult to make new game types in SS. In PB we managed to get different colored bullets for Warbirds and Javelins by using 2 bullet levels, making the bullet upgrade damage be zero, and carefully setting the shrap values and upgrade (I think) so that the upgrade for one equals the normal value of the other.

Bullets, bombs, mines, bricks, decoys, reps, portals all need to be individually settable per ship, per team, per upgrade, per ball carry, per flag carry, etc. The system also needs to be generic enough so you can have, for example, 7 bomb types, or 3 selectable firing modes, or controllable ball pass speed/direction, etc.

However, I think there should also be a generic [Ships] section, so that settings that you do want the same between ships can be changed with just one number.

Now this suggestion is very possible to do with ASSS.

Yep, but sadly, I don't have a Linux computer running right now, and I don't wanna run ASSS on Windows. *Hopes for a cheap computer to roll around*

If you are still in High School, talk to your IT person, and get to know him. He'll give you free crappy shit.
