Ok I made a wav file with the windows sound record and its like 30 seconds long and 4.5megs.. I converted it into a mp3 and now its 458kb's. Anyone know of a good program that instead of converting it to another file type it would keep it a wav but compress it for use as a macro in ss? "maybe we can get mp3 added to continuum in the future... lol fat chance of that happening" |

subspace only does wav. So youll probably have to decrease the sample rate to make it smaller |

Fat chance of it happening, the mp3 thing. However, it'd be nice to have; but I doubt it'll ever be implemented or supported :/ _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

WAV files, by definition, are raw uncompressed samples. _________________ 4,691 irradiated haggis! |

I found a program that will convert files and you can change the freq and such in the options so I managed to make that file smaller as a wav then it was as a mp3 and still sounds fine.

And here is the link again, except this time you don't have a download shoved down your throat and you have time to read the description:
