Is there anyway to fix the following situation:
Player A lays portal, Player B comes and attacks fires bomb, Player A portals, but Player B doesn't receive packet until after Player A warp, showing a kill/hit on Player B's screen but Player A is still alive... (no server recg. of the kill).
It's becoming extremely frustrating. I think there isnt anyway to fix this, only by changing packet priorities? Same thing w/ the mine deal, lay a mine on the screen a player who lags will hit the mine, but not on my screen therefor I technically still have maxed out my mines, but someone hit and died by it :/... _________________ Performance is often the art of cheating carefully. - James Gosling |

| Way back when during VIE days, when I was an active mine plower, to clear mines in a very safe way is just to re-enter the arena. When you re-enter, you don't see the old mines. Thus, just remember where they were, and just fly right through them. Fun because your teammates can die to the shrapnel and such, while you see nothing. |

Well the client shouldn't ever display a kill message if the enemy didn't die, since kill messages are generated from the attacked client (AFAIK). So, if an attacker shoots someone but the person doesn't die and sees the warp graphic, I think any reasonably smart player can figure out what happened. _________________ This help is informational only. It's just getting really anoying because like it shows a hit, and it probably would have been, but they've technically warped, and yeah.. it's just anoying... and it's a big issue in the zone im in. that's it.. remove portals. remove rockets. we'll be all good lol jk |

| There should be less ports in OF. Seriously, it gets really annoying. The Levi should also have slightly less bombs... |
