Im a total newblet to asss, just wanted to clear that up. Im also using the windows version listed here https://forums.minegoboom.com/viewtopic.php?t=559 .
First off, is this the latest version of the windows binaries? Seems the billing and security features dont work in this version.
Error loading module "security" : The specified procedure could not be found - Unrecoverable error <5>
Error loading module 'external:billing'
Secondly, I have the server running, it loads all the modules, sends in the directory server information and reads the news. I then open up Continuum and refresh my zones and it is there. I add it to my zones list. It has a ping time of 10ms, so know its connected. I try to enter the zone but nothing happens, just float through space till it times out. I look at the asss client and notice this message:
Recvd data <00 07 ; 2 bytes> before connection established and seems to be sending in directory server information ALOT, like 15 times in 5 minutes.
UPDATE
Well kick me in the nutz!
I uncommented out core:nullenc and it lets me connect only to get a message like I need to use an older version of Continuum to log onto the server. So I go to my Continuum folder and start up the older version and try to connect. It says theres a newer version of Continuum and I need to get this to play in this zone..lololol what a freakin joke..time for bed!!!!!!
Im just wondering what im doing wrong. And if there is a newer working version can someone post a working url or upload it.

Yes, there are more recent versions of the windows binaries, but they all have major bugs.
external:billing is for use with grelminar's billing proxy. You need to use external:billing_ssc if you want to connect to SSC. At the moment, it is having trouble connecting to other billers.
Try only using nullenc for your encryption. Like comment out encrypt1 or whatever it's called. _________________ Hyperspace Owner

OK, seems to start and show up in the server list alright but now just having the login run around. --> You need to use an older version of Continuum to play on this server. So I use the older version and try to connect and says theres a new version do I want to update now? No-quits and yes downloads the new which I already tried in the first place..heheheh heh heh

yes, there is a continuum in clients and also a continuum038. As for the version, I have no idea. The readme's are vague. I did download it from here though, the package is in this thread - http://forums.minegoboom.com/viewtopic.php?t=559 the compiled binaries for lazy people.

Your modules.conf looks ok to me. Maybe get a frehs copy out of the 1.0rc1 archive, then comment out security:security, security:contenc and core:encrypt1. Then uncomment core:nullenc.
On a side note you should add game:messages for the GreetMessage and PeriodicMessage#, also game:objects if you plan on using a bot/module that toggles lvz.
