Where is the "Both" option? Seeing as everyone here plays continuum (which only runs on win), its either dual-boot, or windows. No one will run only Linux. _________________ Hyperspace Owner

Umm, I believe some people have gotten it to work a bit under wine. Otherwise, some people choose to do only chatting, and can then just use linux fine. |

I have tried wine, but I was never able to get it to run. If anyone has info on it, I would be very interested. |

i use both... and FreeBSD (triple boot machine).
honestly, it mostly depends on what i'm doing. If someone's already logged into win, i dont reboot to check my messages on this board. If i want to do serious development, i usually boot into linux if i have the time. My skills are not as developed in Linux, though i prefer it and find i can get more done there (except i find myself jamming subliminar windows Key Shortcuts). The fact that 99.999% of all machines in my area are win boxes and that my machine isn't even 0.0000000001% of that number, i end up using Windows most of the time, usually on other peoples' and/or school boxes.
i wish i could run mandrake, etc all the time... but the techs usually don't like me booting from revoable media and trying to mount my USB drive.
most linux nerds CAN and DO on good occassion command windows boxes... that's the way it is _________________ Signatures just seem so quaint. |

Actually, you can fit it quite snugly in a 10 meg space. Can't do much with it, but you can boot it and maybe play nethack. |
