Ok heres my problem.
everytime i try to access the server.cfg file it says the following when i press ESC C:
File being sent, please wait.
File received: server.set
i have no idea what server.set is
any ideas on how to solve this problem |

a .set is essentially the same as a .cfg, you just can't edit a .set file in notepad
I think servers automatically translate .cfg file into .set files for in-game use, but I forget
get a copy of FACTS to convert .set files to .cfg (or vice versa) |

You sure can edit .set in notpad. Its just more information than you need. From what I remember its Section:Variable:Value:Max:Min:Desc, as displayed in ESC C. A :::* means that the values are the same as the line above, such as Warbird:InitialBounty, and Javelin:InitialBounty.
Although, when you hit ESC C, you simply have to edit in in-game. Much easier since youve already got it displayed. Takes effect faster too. |

| and if it just says file recieved and nothing happens.. it means template.sss has been deleted (which i find wierd, but thats what they say) |
