I'd like it if the host i choose would keep my zone running 24/7 but instead of *putfile-ing stuff all the time you can just put stuff in ur server folder as you normally do and the host would make the updates. Cuz, man, have i had it with uploading my news to the server and when reenter getting no "new news" message. !@#$$%^ stupid ssnx

2 key things here.

Firstly this is a host specific thing, most _decent_ _reliable_ hosts will give you FTP access to allow you to just transfer the files over in a similar way to if it were on your desktop.

Equally, make sure you arent altering the news file in your zones dir in your ctm dir and copying it across as I once did, then for obvious reasons you wont get the 'new news' message

first, ur not talking my language. Second, it's hard to get a DECENT host... everything is freggin full. I dunno what i'm gonna do when my zone is done...

there are a few good hosts out there and they're often getting rid of unsuccessful zones and putting up new ones

if your zone is particularly good, it will be hosted

Oh an d BTW, SSNX is ran by Dark_Mistress, she is a good host. I don't know what you're talking about.
