Non-Subspace Related Coding - Throw your windows around tcsoccerman - Fri Jun 20, 2008 4:08 pm Post subject: Throw your windows around
I think theres something like this in linux, but i made one for windows.
I made a custom window form derived off of .net framework that allows you to "throw" your windows around your desktop. It has friction, MinLimit, and DivideRate variables. Dividerate should be between 2 and 4. friction is between 0 and 1, 1 being no friction.

The description is a bit misleading... It doesn't allow you to throw all your windows around... only this program's window can be thrown (you have to click 'inside' it too, not on the title bar). So by 'your windows' he really means the windows of programs you'd make in C#

oh... not the title bar
you should make it allow sub-pixel movements so its more smooth

try changing divide rate to 4. but yes, it isn't very smooth. the goal was more of the idea rather outcome.
