how can i do so, that the players can just use ship6?

Make all graphics and ship settings the same? (This is in lvz questions). Either use ship1.bm2, ship2.bm2...or ships.bm2 which has all the ships one under the other.

Actually, i like that suggestion of the same shipX.bm2/settings. Would work for some zones that wish not to have a bot, but only want say 5 ships. The 6-8 ships can be clones of like #1, and no one would be able to tell the difference because there isn't one.

Future suggestion: ASSS can restrict ships by just not letting them change to a ship, and tells them an error message back.
